“THIS ART IS ABOUT THE FIRST PAPER AEROPLANE A CHILD MAKES AND THE EVER-LASTING MEMORY OF THAT FIRST FLIGHT. BASED ON THE ICONIC SHAPE, THE INSTALLATION IS MADE UP OF 36,500 ‘DART’ AEROPLANES, ONE FOR EACH DAY SINCE THE RAF WAS BORN INSTALLED INTO A GIGANTIC ‘RED ARROW’ SILHOUETTE STRUCTURE.”
